Becoming a member is easy. Counties and public entities must pass an ordinance or resolution to join. Private sector members, associations and individuals may simply fill out an application form. Samples of a blank ordinance, the private application form and our bylaws can be found below.
Dues for counties are based on the amount of renewable energy development within their borders, city dues are based on population and private-sector membership dues are determined by a sliding scale. based on revenues.

Counties must also pass a blank county ordinance adopting CREA. You may use our sample document, if you like.
